Our group has a topic to work on each session. We choose the topic from ideas suggested by members, and, if you wish, you can show your completed piece at the next meeting. There is no criticism, just encouraging comments. If you don't wish to work on the chosen topic you are welcome to "Do your own thing": many of us do.

We work in different mediums, acrylic, watercolour, coloured and regular pencils, occasionally collage.

There is often a workshop on a different technique during the term but no teaching as such: we gather advice from each other.

During the holidays we arrange to meet at different places to continue to enjoy our art. This may be at someone's house or an outdoor venue.

We meet on the first and third Mondays of the month from 9.30 until 12.30. at the United Reform Church at the top of Cutty's Lane in Stevenage.

We have just added an extra hour to the class as it gives us a more relaxed time, including a break for coffee and biscuits. this has increased the cost slightly to pay for the hall so the cost of the autumn term will be £24.00 each for the eight sessions.

Monday 16th November- URC Hall - Still Life of Food and Drink.

Monday 30th November- URC Hall - Cheerful/Joyous. (Extra session).

Monday 7th December - URC Hall - In The Bleak Mid-Winter.
