Our main reading source is through the local Library Reading Group Book List, this does incur an annual fee (£35 - Sept)) which is divided equally between the Reading Group members. Each group member chooses a book from the list to read during the year (usually March/April)

We all read the same book and discuss at the monthly meeting. Every year we include a classic e.g. Ray Bradbury - Fahrenheit 451

The number in brackets is the average score out of 10 awarded by the readers. This based on areas e.g. Plot, Characterisation, Tone, Irony and Understanding what the author is trying to tell us. Quite often a book that was not enjoyed/appreciated by everyone caused the most discussion/debate.
